Four hours & $552 later we were finally back on the road. Not good enough Tyrepower Longreach, NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

    VERY disappointing experience....

Thoroughly recommend Alice and James for honest personal service. They surely had the opportunity to over service a problem I had with my Jeep Cherokee. I was then confident in getting new tyres and giving the car a much needed Xmas service. I'd highly recommend them.

So then a worker did replace my spare with another of my worn tyres & fit it to my car & put the new tyre I already had back to my spare. I'm no expert but 2 new on the front, 2 worn on the back makes sense to me. I politely complained the whole time he did this, he was apologetic but noone took ownership of the stuff up & the owners never came near me & never apologized.

I understand they were busy, the owner had said that on the phone. If the answer was no, then say you can't do it - 2 other tyre shops in Longreach I could have tried. Then to stuff the configuration & send me on my way with a BLOWN tyre still on my spare is unforgivable.

Never mind then I went to the servo to check my air (cause their competence & carefactor were zero) & the 3 tyres they'd handled were all over inflated at 40 psi when they should be 30.

I was very appreciative that the owner said they could fit me in for 2 new tyres when I blew one travelling in my SantaFe, with my 3 small kids to Brisbane. He said it would take 2 hours but they would get it done.

However, 3 hours later I had to chase them for my car, which had been done but I hadn't been called. All load into the car to head off, think twice & double check my car to find the BLOWN tyre was still on my spare rim under the car. I had 2 new tyres on the front, a worn on the back & a new on the back (that had been my spare). Back I go, takes the owner ages to come see me, never apologises but says they'll fix it.
