  Quite a lovely place staff are so friendly and so helpful. Beds are comfortable room was perfect for our needs for the night.

  Had the best shower after a long 1000km drive , bed was extremely comfy & the steak dinner was to die for ... would definitely recommend this place to stay in Longreach

  I went to the restaurant for dinner, that was a mistake! Ordered fish, chips and salad - got chips fish and a very meagre salad which seemed to be mostly cabbage and onions. The meal took 35 minutes to arrive - there were only 6 people in the restaurant - and I waited another 10 minutes at the counter to pay the bill.

  Had a nice stay here. Rooms are basic but clean and appointed well enough. Restaurant was very good. More than expected.

  Nothing is cared for. Rubbish in gardens everywhere. See pictures out side my room. Dead plants everywhere I get that there is water restrictions. Just pull out the dead plants. Cleaning they only get a 2 if there is somewhere else vacant stay there will take a lot to get this place back to its glory.

  I would suggest give this restaurant a miss and go to the RSL Club where the food is quicker, cheaper and a lot better.

  The bad: place is not loved I would say it is a leased out motel and not owner operators.

  I arrived without a booking and was welcomed and sold a room for the night. The reception service was terrific, friendly and efficient. The room was clean, quiet with a comfortable chairs inside and out under the awning. I ordered a continental breakfast so as to get away early - I haven't seen it yet so don't know what it is like.
